A Celebratory Twist on the Classic Negroni Cocktail - The Smokin' Celebration Cocktail
If you love a Negroni Cocktail, you'll love this little number, the Smokin' Celebration Cocktail. A slight variation on the Negroni, created in 2015 by Devis D'Ercole at Imperial Beach, Italy - we have taken it a step further and infused it with beech wood.

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS
- 30ml Cognac (brandy)
- 30ml Sweet Vermouth
- 30ml Campari
- 2 dashes Angostura of orange bitters
- Orange slice or zest twist to garnish
- Pinch of beech wood chips to smoke
COCKTAIL METHOD
- Stir all ingredients with ice in a cocktail mixing glass
- Add a pinch of beech wood chips (or the wood chip flavour of your choice) into your smoker and light.
- Allow the smoke to infuse for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Stir the ingredients and strain into a coupe glass (old fashioned champagne glass) filled with ice.
- Add orange twist or wedge to garnish
