How to add smoke to ribs or other foods using the Sixpence Alchemy Food & Drink Infuser
After assembling your food and drink infuser, follow these simple steps:
- Place your food under a cloche, glass bowl or ceramic bowl.
- Slide the infuser hose just under the edge of the bowl so the smoke can flow inside.
- Add a pinch of wood chips into the infuser's chamber.
- Turn on the infuser using the button on its base.
- Light the wood chips for 5 to 10 seconds, allowing the bowl to fill with smoke.
- Turn off the infuser and remove the hose.
- Allow the smoker to stay under the bowl for 30 so the flavour can infuse into the food.
- Lift the bowl and enjoy your smoky creation.
